Hyundai's 'miles & smiles rally 2010' by IOC

The excitement never stops at Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), as was evident at the 'Miles & Smiles Rally 2010' organized by HMIL for the customers of the i10 in Ahmedabad.

'Miles & Smiles Rally 2010' Sponsored by the Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Wynn's Mekuba (as associate sponsor), the rally garnered a phenomenal response of cars - both 1.1 litre and 1.2 litre Kappa variants - customers and their families participating with gusto.

A total of 82 cars reported for the 77 kms - Hyundai Miles and Smiles car rally and they participated in a contest held for 1.1 Litre and 1.2 Litre categories. In 1.1 Litre category, the average mileage was 28.2 and the winner was Surjit Singh Vaghela. In 1.2 Litre category, the average mileage was 29.14 and the winner was Yogesh Bhai.

The rally was flagged off from Hotel Cambay Grand and culminated at the same point.
The 'Miles & Smiles Rally' is a special initiative of HMIL to help its customers in different cities to acquaint themselves better with their cars - learn the techniques of fuel efficient driving, calculate the mileage per litre and also win exciting prizes in the process.

The rally also aims at raising the awareness about the judicious use of the scarce fossil fuels, by promoting fuel efficient driving habits among customers.
